Snip is another great (free) tool from the Office Mix team. It allows one to capture a window or area of your screen. Right, a screenshot? Yes, but Snip allows to annotate, record your voice and share it as a video.
Let's take a closer look. You can download Snip at https://mix.office.com/Snip. Snip is only available for Windows.
Hit the button Download Snip.
Open the downloaded file.
Hit Install and there you go! Snip appears on the top of your screen.
The first button allows you to capture an area of your screen.
Drag and select an area. This image appears in Snip.
The Pen button allows you to annotate (draw) on the image. You can choose the prefered color.
The Record buttons allows you to record your voice to make it more interactive. You can annotate during this record as well. Please notice the record will start right away.
While recording a red selection appears. You're able to pause or stop the record.
After recording you're able to save the file as MP4.
You can play or redo.
You're able to share via Email, Facebook, Link or Embed (HTML code).
