How to create an online Excel Survey using Office 365?
In this quick guide we'll discuss how to create AND edit an online Excel Survey which is available for all people who are having a free Microsoft account.
How to create an Excel Online Survey?
Go to your OneDrive page (https://onedrive.live.com).
Choose New > Excel Survey.
You are now able to create your survey and add field to the form.
Fill in a Title and Description.
Click at Enter your first question here.
You are now able to fill in the Question, Question Subtitle and whether the question is Required. The response types can be text (short), paragraph text (long), number, date, time, yes/no and choice.
Click at Done.
You can add new questions by hitting .
When you are done, you hit Save and view. You will get a preview.
How to share a survey?
Once the survey is ready, you are offered the button "Share Survey".
Hit Create link. A random url will be generated. By clicking shorten link, you'll receive a short link.
By sharing this link, people will be able to fill in your survey.
Once you're back in OneDrive, you can find the survey under Recent.
By ticking the file, the Share button will appear.
You can find the green Share button on the top at all times.
How to view data?
By opening the Excel Survey from OneDrive, you'll automatically be able to view the data.
How to edit an Excel Online Survey?
It took me a while to figure out how to edit an Excel Online Survey.
Open the survey from OneDrive. Excel Online will start.
Navigate to Insert > Survey > Edit Survey.
You are also able to Delete, Share and View the survey.
